PNEUMATIC VACUUM PLANT.

For a total extraction of the solvents from the residuals.

Vacuum distillation process allows to:

  • Lower artificially boiling temperature of the products under treatment, making easy vaporisation and extraction of the solvents.
  • Avoid, consequently, critical temperatures joining for self-ignition or decomposition, which determine dangerous situations or solvents acidification and degradations of the dirty part.
  • Allows the separation between two kinds of solvents.
  • Safety improvement during distillation of products with nitrocellulose.

It’s advised for the distillation of solvents with high boiling point or limited vapour tension.

Vacuum plant is mainly constituted by and additional tank with the following functions:

  • VACUUM GENERATOR AND DISTILLED SOLVENT STORING TANK

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

Ciemme vacuum system is composed by and additional tank connected to the solvent reclaimer, having the function to work as “cumulating tank” and depression compensator. Vacuum is created both in the reclaimer tank both in the cumulating tank, by a pump working by compressed air and driven by a pressure control device. Solvent collecting tank, base and all other pipings and junctions are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Vacuum generator is “Venturi” ejector type, placed inside the control board. Vacuostate is analogic kind with constant hystheresis.

  • Ball-valve for distilled solvent pouring in tanks.
  • Diam.300 check window.
  • Basket pre-filter.
  • Connecting support to the solvent reclaimer.
  • Stainless steel mono-direction valve on "venturi" pump suction.
  • Compressed air pressure reducer.
  • Compressed air pressure gauge.
  • Vacuum-meter.
  • Adjustable vacuum by controller from 100 to 580 millimetres.

N.B.: With pneumatic system its’ necessary to have compressed air to 5-6 Bar.
